transmediale.08 video selection at Laboratorio Arte Alameda, Mexico City from 2nd July until the 4th August. The programme will presented by the curator, Thomas Munz, on the 1st July at 7.30pm. Programme will also be screened on the 4th July at Fundacion Ludwig de Cuba, Havana.
Five Years Periodical Volume 1, publication launch and exhibition, 11th - 14th July. Video work 'Il Cittadino' screened at Badischer Kunstverein, Karlsruhe, in Film Program Part 1 on May 14th. Curated by Marcel Schwierin the programme includes works by Christian Jankowski, Ambrosio, Gianfranco Baruchello & Alberto Grifi.
New video work 'Ourland' in 'Interference' group exhibition at Red Stables Gallery Dublin. Exhibition runs from 16th - 25th May.
May 9th, 'Il Cittadino' in 'Rhymes of an hour' a screening programme at Loop Art Fair Barcelona, featuring moving-image works by artists who graduated from Goldsmiths, London, including Alsopp and Weir, Alexander Heim and Yaron Lapid. This screening is preceeded with a round table discussion with, Julia Scher, KHM, Köln; Pia Lindman, Yale University; Teresa Blanch, Fine Arts University of Barcelona; Suhail Malik, Goldsmiths College.

'Red Cheeks' and 'Il Cittadino' screened on the 25th of October at Whitechapel Art Gallery in London. This is part of a screening event called 'New Work UK: Trust Yourself', curated by Lina Dzuverovic. Artists also in the screening programmes are Chia-En Jao, Yaron Lapid, Flávia Müller Medeiros, Harold Offeh and Uriel Orlow.

Michelle Deignan is taking part in 'Viewtube' a panel dicussion at Campbell Works, London as part of the Autonomous series of exhibitions, screenings and discussions curated by Alli Beddows. Panelists include Malcom Le Grice, Simon Pope and John Summers. 'Viewtube' will use youtube.com as a vehicle for discussion dealing with issues of selection, resonsibility, collaboration, free sharing and peer to peer networks. This event coincides with John Tiney's solo exhibition 'Joyride'. Starts 7pm, Wednesday the 4th of July.

A selection of Michelle Deignan's video work will be screened at Scolt Head, London on June 3rd. This is one of six Sunday screening evenings where an artist has been invited to present work alongside a feature film of their choice. The feature film Deignan has chosen is 'Trust' by Hal Hartley. Other artists who are screening their work in this series include, Vittorio Santoro, Shezad Dawood and Emily Wardill.

Deignan's video work 'Red Cheeks' is screened as part of 'Artmapping' public screenings and artworks sited in and around Fluc in Vienna. Artmapping continues until the end of August 2007.

A panel discussion will be held at The LAB on Monday 16th April at 6.15pm which will consider both current exhibitions, Michelle Deignan's "After the fact" and Doireann Wallace's "a whole new architecture of reality". Discussion is entitled "Media Methods and Creation of Meaning" and the panel is Valerie Connor, lecturer and visual arts consultant for the Irish Arts Council; Tim Stott, critic and lecturer; and the artists Michelle Deignan and Doireann Wallace.

'After the fact' Michelle Deignan's solo exhibition at The LAB in Dublin, opens on the 14th of March and continues until 17th of April. This show features recent video works plus a new work 'Il Cittadino'.
Deignan is exhibiting 'Red Cheeks' in 'Black Light', the forthcoming group exhibition at 'Colony' in Birmingham. This show is part of 'The Event', a series of city wide artist run activities in permanent and temporary spaces throughour central Birmingham. Opening event is on the 31st of the month.
Michelle Deignan is taking part in Hen Weekend at the De La Warr pavilion on the south coast of England. Hen Weekend is a new format networking event set-up by artist Ellie Harrison. It aims to facilitate discussion and encourage collaboration between its 16 selected participants from the UK and abroad.
'There is no future for us now' opens at Five Years gallery London, from the 2nd of March until the 11th.

Michelle Deignan is one of ten artists who programme Five Years project space in London. The inaugural exhibition in the new gallery, 'Goo Goo Muck', opens 2nd of this month in Regent Studios, Hackney, London. 'Art for Everyone' by Edward Dorrian opens at the gallery on the 17th and continues until the 24th of this month.
